Teeth whitening works by applying a gel to the teeth overnight, this gel gently lifts away staining compounds whitening the tooth gradually over time.

Types of Teeth Whitening
Dr Mariam offers three methods of teeth whitening.
Enlighten is a combination system which involves whitening in bespoke whitening trays for 2 weeks, this is then followed by an hour booster session of whitening at the Dr Mariam’s clinic.
The system has a 98% success rate worldwide because of how accurate the trays are designed and also the quality of the whitening compound itself.
You can get up to 10 shades lighter with Zoom and Boutique whitening system. The benefits of home whitening is that as long as you keep the trays safe you can do what we call a top up whenever you need to. You can purchase tubes of whitening gels from Dr Mariam seperately.
This uses the same technology as the whitening systems mentioned, but it is done in one visit. Usually it can last for 2 hours, the whitening gels is applied to your teeth, this is then activated by a special blue light. This works by accelerating the whitening process.
The results are satisfying and one session guarantees to lighten your teeth by up to 6 shades. Dr Mariam normally recommends office whitening as a top up for a big event such as a wedding or party.
