Invisalign is a most discreet way to straighten your teeth. A mould is taken of your teeth which is scanned to created a virtual simulation of your before and after.
You can see what your teeth will look like before you even commit! If you are happy with your clincheck then a series of aligners are made. The aligners are removable so you can take them out to eat and drink.
You must wear your aligners for 22 hours a day to guarantee your results, and failure to do so will result in less than optimal results.
After you are finished, normally you will require two forms of retention so a fixed retainer and a removable retainer to ensure they do not move back to their original position.
Invisalign can be used to treat crooked teeth and teeth that has spaces between them. The most common causes are those where the patient has had braces in the past and they failed to wear their retainer resulting in relapse.
